PURE Casino Calgary on Meridian Road
This page sets out where PURE Casino Calgary is, who owns it and what you will find on the gaming floor. This site lists 30 venues in all, and this is one of them. For opening hours, check the venue's own page.
Address, owner and place in the guide
PURE Casino Calgary stands at 1420 Meridian Rd NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2N9. It is a full casino, with slot machines, electronic table games, live table games and VLTs. Indigenous Gaming Partners owns and operates it through Pure Casino Entertainment Limited Partnership. That partnership of five Nova Scotia Mi'kmaw First Nations acquired PURE Canadian Gaming in December 2024.
The company has a longer history. It was known as Casino ABS when ONCAP bought it in 2011, and became PURE Canadian Gaming two years later. On June 24, 2026, PURE completed its purchase of Gamehost. That deal brought Deerfoot Inn & Casino, in the city's southeast, under the same operator. In this guide, both venues sit in the Calgary area section.
On the floor and around it
- Slot machines: more than 850 of them. The floor also has VLTs, short for video lottery terminals, a type of electronic gaming machine.
- Electronic table games are table games run by machine or screen, played from individual seats. Here that means 12-seat automated roulette, a 24-seat stadium on a 14-foot screen, and the Replay Arena.
- Live table games, dealt by staff, include Baccarat, Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, Chase the Flush, Pai Gow and Roulette. A high-limit room, meant for larger bets, holds 5 Baccarat and 3 Blackjack tables, and there is a VIP gaming lounge.
- Poker runs in a room with ten tables, dealing Texas Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha, with weekly and monthly tournaments. The poker room has its own line: 403-237-6537.
- Loyalty cards come in two kinds here. Winner's Edge, the province-wide program run by AGLC, earns points on electronic table games and slots; the operator's own PURE Rewards card can also be used.
- Shows take place at Meridian Central Station, the casino's entertainment venue.
Before you go
Alberta sets its legal gambling age at 18, so entry is for adults. Any guest who looks younger than 25 has to show staff valid government photo ID, so have yours with you. Opening hours for the casino floor, live tables and poker are in the "Plan your visit" table beside the map. Hours may change on holidays, so before you set out, confirm them on the venue's page or ring the main line at (403) 248-9467.
Parking and transit details are not something this guide has to pass on for Meridian Road.
